Jeremy appointed Counsel General in the Welsh Government

I have been nominated by the First Minister and approved by the National Assembly, to serve as Counsel General in the Welsh Government.

The Counsel General is an important role that acts as the government’s chief legal advisor. I am honoured to take on the position and join the Welsh Government.

I want to stress that I remain the Assembly Member for Neath and I will continue working hard for constituents as I always have since being first elected in May 2016. My office in Pontardawe remains open and my team are ready to support you in any way that we can.
