Jeremy Miles AM has met with the European Parliament’s chief Brexit negotiator Guy Verhofstadt and told him to protect Welsh jobs in the Brexit negotiations.
Jeremy met Verhofstadt in Brussels, with Assembly Members from across the political parties, as part of the External Affairs Committee’s work on Brexit.
Jeremy Miles, Assembly Member for Neath and member of the External Affairs Committee said:
“Although Wales voted for Brexit, we didn’t vote for fewer jobs and we didn’t vote for fewer exports.
We had a very simple message that we don’t want a kind of Brexit that would damage the Welsh economy. We need a deal that works for Wales.”
